1. Discover
See the map, not just a line
Explore hazards and community markers, open details, and get a feel for what others reported. It will never be complete, so stay sharp.
ScrapeSafe is for drivers who think about scrapes and want smarter road awareness. Here, “scrape” means clearance and respect for the road, not driving like a fool. It is still on you to pay attention, follow local rules, and use common sense.

iPhone: App Store release is coming soon. Android is on Google Play today.
Three steps from opening the app to driving with clearer context. You are still responsible on the road.
1. Discover
Explore hazards and community markers, open details, and get a feel for what others reported. It will never be complete, so stay sharp.
2. Plan
Build a plan that fits how you drive: clearance-minded routing and cues alongside navigation. We are not promising zero contact on every street.
3. Drive
Meets, groups, and messages keep the drive tied to people you trust. Slow down for conditions and other road users.
Dark UI with a teal “signal” accent on iOS and Android phones. Tabs and tools match what you see on your device.
Map
Work with speed bumps, speed tables, inclines, and other signals. Add what you spot, with verification and moderation in the app. No product can cover every road perfectly.
Routing
Turn-by-turn with hazard callouts where data exists. It is a different job than what Google Maps or Waze optimize for; when our backends and your settings allow, we lean toward smoother, better-informed lines.
Clear
Model a bump or incline with heights and angles, plus optional tilt sampling, to estimate whether your bumper likely clears. It is a tool, not a lab-grade guarantee.
Garage
Save clearance-related fields and build notes so tools and navigation line up with how the car actually sits.
Feed
Share builds and moments, discover others, and keep the app from feeling like noise. What people write stays as they wrote it (no auto-translation of user posts in the app).
Groups
Create or join communities around cities, styles, or crews, with private meets and posts where you set them.
Meets
Host or join rolling meets on the map, including group-only options so the right people see the invite.
Messages
Coordinate starts, routes, and last-minute changes in threads tied to real profiles, not random spam blasts.
Pro
Subscriptions (for example via RevenueCat) can unlock more routing, hosting, or quality-of-life. Check the store listing for what is live in your region.
For shops, organizers, and crews who want Pro-level tools and to show up on the map, not only as a personal profile.
Shops and organizers
Business is for venues and hosts: be visible where drivers plan routes, highlight what you offer, and run meets without bumping into the same caps as casual users (exact limits are in the app).
Some accounts get a business flag at signup; that is separate from an active Business subscription, which unlocks the paid business tools. Open ScrapeSafe to see which one applies to you.
ScrapeSafe mixes maps and tools with garage pride and meets, without treating safety like a stunt for clout.
Press and quotes
We only add logos or short quotes when we have clear permission. No fake testimonials.
Press, shops, organizers, or community voices: want to be listed here? Email hello@scrapesafe.app with who you are, a link or brief context, and we will get back to you.
We take driving seriously. The app adds context; it does not replace what you must still watch for yourself.
Honest answers if you are comparing us to other maps, or searching for things like “low car routing” and “speed bump map”.
A dark-themed phone app that combines map hazard context, clearance-minded navigation, and a driving community (garage, feed, groups, meets, DMs) for people who care about ground clearance.
Those apps are great for general traffic and ETA. ScrapeSafe adds clearance-oriented context and social features for a specific crowd. You can still use other maps wherever they fit. We are not part of Google or Waze.
No. Data is crowdsourced and moderated. Some regions are packed; others are thin. Slow down and look ahead, especially at night or in rain.
No. Routing and callouts help with surprises; they do not replace your car’s limits, load, tyre pressure, or your own judgment.
It estimates likely clearance over a modeled bump or incline from numbers you enter (and optional phone tilt). Think of it as guidance, not a certified measurement.
Visibility follows your account and where you post (feed, groups, meets). Check in-app controls and our Privacy Policy.
The app may offer ScrapeSafe Pro (and related entitlements) with billing through the App Store or Google Play. Exact prices and benefits are on the store page where you download.
Business is the shop and organizer tier: everything Pro-equivalent, plus business-facing tools such as a map pin, highlights, insights, WhatsApp or contact shortcuts, and strong meet-hosting for organizers (see in-app copy for limits). Some people get a business badge at signup (business account in our backend); the paid Business subscription turns on the full business toolkit. Check your profile or entitlements in the app.
Many builds ship English and Dutch in the UI, plus speed units like km/h and mph. Community text stays in whatever language the author used.
Use in-app reporting where it exists and email hello@scrapesafe.app for account or policy questions.
The same URLs the app uses: Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

On Android you can install or wishlist on Google Play. iPhone App Store: coming soon (phone app only; not built for iPad).
Set playStoreUrl in js/site-config.js if
the Play button should point somewhere else.
When the iPhone app ships, this will be a normal App Store button.
